Who Are We?

Located at 45 Cavalier Boulevard in Florence, Kentucky, Perspectives: Skills for Life is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering teens and young adults ages 11 and up with autism and other developmental differences.

Through evidence-based programs, hands-on learning, and meaningful social opportunities, we provide a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals can develop essential life skills, build confidence, foster friendships, and gain greater independence.

But Perspectives is more than a place to learn. It’s a place to belong.

We are a community built on understanding, acceptance, and growth, where every individual is valued, encouraged to discover their strengths, and given opportunities to reach their fullest potential.

At Perspectives, we’re not just teaching skills for today. We’re building confidence, connections, and brighter futures for tomorrow.

How is Perspectives meeting the need?

Perspectives: Skills for Life is helping fill a critical gap in services for teens and young adults with developmental differences throughout Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati region.

With our dedicated, state-of-the-art facility in Florence, Kentucky, we are bringing essential social skills development, independent living training, executive functioning support, and job readiness programs together under one roof.

For families who previously had to travel outside Northern Kentucky to access specialized services, Perspectives offers a valuable resource closer to home. We are proud to welcome individuals and families from across the Tri-State, creating new opportunities for learning, personal growth, and meaningful connections.

More than meeting a need, Perspectives is building a community where individuals can develop the skills, confidence, and independence to thrive at home, in the community, and in the workforce.
